Recently I have been interested and eager to start writing and working on content for Bicyclenerd.com.  With the leaves changing, the days getting shorter and the cool breeze in the air a sense of nostalgia has come over me and my mind starts to think back to when I started riding again in spring of 2003. I immediately was overcome with the cycling bug,  the hammering on the pedals, the sore legs, the newness to training and getting fit again.  Over the recent years things are less new and less exciting,  training is training and racing is racing and somewhere in there, there is riding – good riding, memorable riding, memorable journeys.  I have had a rebirth of some sort the last few months,  taping into some of those feelings from 2003.  That is why I have started to write and develop bicycenerd.com again,  in a hopes to nurture that rebirth,  the excitement of riding  and not the dread.  So, I welcome with open arms everyone, everything and every road.
